INGREDIENTS: water for boiling some salt 1/2 kilo crabs 1/2 kilo mussels 1/2 kilo shrimp 300grams squid 2 large sweet corn (boiled) 200grams butter unsalted 2 bulbs garlic 4 tbsp. tomato paste 6 tbsp. oyster sauce 1 cup sprite or lemon soda 2 tbsp. brown sugar (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a large pot, boil some water. Add salt. Then add the crabs and mussels, boil for 3 to 5 minutes. After boiling, set aside. In the same water, boil the shrimp for 2 minutes. Then set aside.
  2. In a separate pan, melt the butter. Add the chopped garlic. Saute’ until aromatic. Add in the tomato paste. Saute’ for a minute. Then, add the oyster sauce and Sprite. Mix until well-combined. Add sugar as needed. Then season with salt and pepper. Cook until the sauce becomes thicker.
  3. Add the squid to the sauce and cook for 1 minute. Then add the crabs, mussels and shrimp. You can also add boiled sweet corn at this point. Mix well until all seafoods are fully coated with the sauce. Cover and cook for 1 minute.
  4. After 1 minute, it’s ready! Serve in a large pan or plate and garnish with toasted garlic and spring onions (optional). Enjoy!
